The 2024 American superhero movie Kraven the Hunter is based on the same-named character from Marvel Comics. Kraven's connection with his father and his journey to become the best hunter are both explored in the movie. The film, which was directed by J. C. Chandor and based on a screenplay by Richard Wenk, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway, features Russell Crowe, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the titular character. The movie, which is the sixth installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU), was produced by Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Marvel Entertainment.

Before Sony Pictures expressed interest in a stand-alone movie based on Kraven as part of their new shared universe in the middle of 2017, the character was considered for many movie appearances. August 2018 saw the hiring of Wenk, followed by Marcum and Holloway. With Taylor-Johnson's casting in May 2021, Chandor's directorship was confirmed, having begun discussions in August 2020. Before filming in London, Iceland, and Glasgow from late March to mid-June 2022, more cast members joined in early 2022. Kraven the Hunter was finally released by Columbia Pictures in the United States on December 13, 2024, after two years of delays. Critics gave the movie mostly bad reviews, praising its visual effects and storyline. It was a box office flop, earning $62 million worldwide on a budget of $110–130 million.
