Vikram Bhatt is the writer and director of the 2016 Indian horror movie Raaz: Reboot (transl. Secret: Reboot). Gaurav Arora, Kriti Kharbanda, and Emraan Hashmi play the main parts. The movie is part of the fourth installment of the Raaz horror film series. The film is based on the urban legend "Naale Baa", which means "come tomorrow" in Kannada, but was changed to stree kal ana. (Hindi for "Oh woman, come tomorrow"). Rao, who wanted to become a tailor, learned sewing. In December, Shraddha Kapoor was confirmed as the female lead. In January 2018, Amar Kaushik was slated to direct the film. The final project was completed in May 2018 and received positive reviews from critics. The film grossed 180 crore rupees at the box office despite a budget of 23 crore rupees and was a major commercial success. The film received 10 nominations at the 64th Film Awards, including Best Film, Best Director (Kaushik), Best Actor (Rao), and Best Actor (both Khurana and Tripathi won this award), and won the Best Director (Kaushik). "Sarkate Ka Aatank" (literally "Sarkate Ka Aatank") is a 2024 Hindi-language comedy-horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt, co-produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
